  • What is Dragonboating? +

For those unfamiliar with the sport, dragon boating is the activity of paddling in a boat with around 20 other people, a drummer, and a helm - racing to cross the finish line faster than their competition.

It is a team sport in its purest form that encompasses the elements of power, speed, synchronisation and endurance. It originated from China but have grown to be a competitive modern sport which relies on teamwork and communication.

In the UK, there is a national league run by the British Dragonboat Racing Association. The sport is also popular for Corporate, Amateur Professional and Charity races.
  • How To Paddle +

Dragonboating is a sport that anyone can participate in regardless of gender, race or build. From the moment you learn to hold the paddle, you will be in the company of a mix of fellow paddlers - and you can continuously improve on technique, timing and power.
